Bed linen can vary a lot, and they are not all made equal. We use 100% grade 6A long strand Mulberry silk. Our sheets are seamless down the middle, rather than the cheap synthetic satin, or fake silk mix sets on the market. Our silk sheets come in Australian queen, king and super king size. More sizes available on request. Our silk sheet sets have a large 40cm wall on the fitted sheet (50cm on the super king). (please compare the sizes below with your mattress before buying).

How to wash silk bed sheets?
Yes Mulberry silk sheets are delicate but can still be machine washed. Only on a cold gentle setting with like colours. Be sure to line dry in shade. Do not tumble dry, or use oxygen bleaches or bleach (please read all detergents to make sure they are silk approved). Silk can shrink or lose its shine so please treat carefully, this is not considered a fault as it is a natural fibre. Please be careful of stains, being a delicate, silk sheets do not have the same washing options as more easy care fabrics like cotton or synthetics. Please take this into consideration.

Is thread count important for silk sheets?
Often people worry about the thread count of their sheets. Mulberry silk is measured in silk momme weight. We only sell 22 momme. Silk is a great option fabric for luxury sheets and softness and being 22 momme our sheets are a momme weight suitable for bed sheets. Anything lower than this can be a little thin for everyday use.
Are silk sheets cool?
I always think back to my younger years when I had a set of satin sheets. They felt amazing but were always quite sticky, sweaty and were it was always quite tricky to keep my pillow and quilt on my bed. I would always find them sliding around due to being so ‘silky feeling’. Many ‘cheaper’ satin sheet sets are made with a synthetic satin, this is very different from the pure natural Mulberry silk satin fabric our bedding is made of.
We do not sell any synthetic satins. In most instances you should not find our sheets to be sticky or hot (this may depend on your weather also) in fact most customers confirm in our reviews that they find them quite cooling and soft on their skin. Pure Mulberry silk is also more soft than it is ‘shiny’ so this adds to a more natural comfort level while sleeping.
